SPACE SAVER BUNKBEDS

This is a bunkbed design idea for a family with 4 children living in New York. Obviously space is priced at a premium in NYC, so I immediately thought about those large sliding vertical file cabinets they have in offices to save room and am applying it here to these bunkbeds.

At this point I've only constructed the beds themselves, the next step will adding some safety rails on the top beds and trying to detail how the bed will slide open and close with the rail system. Then I will move on to color and details like the texture of the mattress and pillows.

I may also make multiple copies with some different details at the very end.
